I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist, and I am dedicated to helping you succeed in achieving your goal toward healing. While counseling can sometimes be challenging, I seek to partner with and walk alongside you to help you navigate your present or historic difficulties.

Often, we find ourselves feeling stuck, lost, unsure, or experiencing any array of human experiences which may be stressful. My style of psychotherapy is looking to the past to inform the present, in order to plan for the future. Understanding the interconnectedness of things to determine where you want your life to go, I believe, is central to the healing process.

For me, counseling is not a job, not a career, but a calling. I answered this call and it has been one of the best decisions of my life (the best decision being marrying my wife, of course). I have partnered with many individuals of different ages, races, cultures, diagnoses, educational backgrounds, and others. This has deepened my appreciation for other people and has expanded my understanding of the struggles that are faced day to day.​

I have experience in care management and facilitation, providing counseling to juveniles on probation, delivering therapy to those who have been court ordered, doing home-based clinical services, implementing and administering Family Centered Treatment© to families, hospice social work, community mental health, certified clinical behavioral health clinics, conducting counseling to geriatric and SPMI populations, telehealth, and clinical supervision.

When I am not providing clinical services, I am spending my time with my wife, our daughter, and our Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I enjoy reading, canoeing, nature walks, living a faith-centered life, antiquing, board games, hiking, archery, tennis, genealogy research, gardening, and listening to podcasts.​​
